Creston Veterinary Hospital can provide daytime emergency care but after-hours care is shared with the EKVG, which is a group of veterinary hospitals in the East Kootenays that has formed to help ensure that emergency care in the region remains accessible. An experienced RVT will triage the emergency and direct the client to appropriate care. Travel to other locations may be required. We encourage all clients to plan ahead by having emergency transportation plans, especially bovine and equine clients as farm calls may not be available in the Creston area.
