Dr. Audrey Hebert, Creston Veterinarian

Meet Dr. Hebert

I was born in Edmundston, NB and always grew up with animals in my household. I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian since the age of 5! I did three years of an undergraduate degree in animal science at Dalhousie University's Agricultural campus in Truro, NS, before being accepted into the DVM program at the Atlantic Veterinary College (University of PEI).

I originally entered my studies wanting to pursue equine medicine, but through various work opportunities and elective courses, I found a true passion for bovine medicine and all things cows! I have over 5 years of on-farm experience on various dairy farms with milking systems, including tie stalls and robot barns, doing an array of things such as milking, tractor driving, calf care, and cow treatments.

At home, I have three cats: a tortie with a big personality named Brownie, a lovable orange tabby named Bella, Brownie’s sister, and a tuxedo named Boots whose favorite hobby is running around the house full speed at 4 am. I also have a dog: a shelter rescue American Staffordshire Terrier named Pebble.

When I am not at the clinic, I enjoy reading, hiking with my pup, swimming/paddleboarding and spending time with my partner. I am looking forward to meeting new people and animals and making impactful connections.
